During most of the time since this group opened in 1999, there has never been a regular chat going on, despite our having a great chatroom complete with voice capability. This is yet another aspect of the silent status quo that anyone at all is free to change. If you would like to see a chat happening here, simply start posting a notice of when you intend to be here in the chat room and invite people to join you (either from within the list, or others you'd like to join the group and be here in chat with you). There is no censorship of posts or of subject matter of chats; however, keep in mind that this group is open to all ages.
