Some members are posting more and more extraneous material, not directly related to Simplistic Meditation. This in itself is not so terrible, particularly if people want to discuss those subjects. However, the majority of those posts are not written by the members posting them, but are rehash of certain subjects posted over and over, and posted across the internet in a large list of groups, etc.
To date, I have left people alone mostly, to post whatever they want. After these type posts are up awhile, I delete them, as people have already received them, so as to not clutter up the archives with unrelated quotes and links. And so...the new and red hot "Rule of Thumb" (also known as the rule of altarlight, that little controlling guy that pipes up now and then). For members who want to post these posts, please add them to the "Files" area of the web site so as not to email them to everyone constantly. Anyone who is interested can go there and read them. Please do not duplicate the stories, files, links and so forth...even there. Any further posting to the emailed messages list that falls into this category will result in your posting privileges being made unavailable. No one is complaining, it's just me...because the entire purpose for this group lies elsewhere. Please take the Simplistic Meditation submission email address OFF of your mailing list and send your posts to this list individually. Alternatives: If you want to share these quotes and links, post a brief request message to all members, and ask those interested to contact you and request to be put on your mailing list to receive them. Then let it rest as far as the list goes. If it isn't overdone, feel free to post YOUR OWN WORDS to the list on these subjects, and when doing so, relate them to Simplistic Meditation and your own personal experiences. That means specifically NOT quotes of many authors, experts and so on...but your own words. THIS LIST IS SPECIFICALLY FOR DISCOVERY OF ACCESSING INNER GUIDANCE. IT'S NOT A DEMOCRACY. IT'S NOT A "LET'S BE FAIR, OPEN AND DIVERSE" FORUM. Believe it or not, I find some of those posts very interesting and read them, check out the web sites and read more, and so on. But they still are being overdone on this particular group list. I used to study every odd phenomena I could get my eyes on, once personally created and published the "UFO Guide," an index of all UFO publications available (in the 70's), and have had very trusted friends and family members encounter UFO's fairly close up. There's something going on out there. Perhaps that's the point...they stay out there and don't post regularly on the message board.
