While it's true that a hacking attempt directed at one's Mac is 
amusing, look at the bigger picture. What's not amusing is that the 
same imbecile trying to hack you Mac is trying--and succeeding, in a 
few cases--to hack everyone else in the surrounding address space. 
This is where altrusism comes in: as a good netizen, I believe it's 
incumbent upon one to report as many attacks one witnesses as is 
feasible. It may be a "silly kid", it may be a professional spammer 
looking for a hole, or who knows? Get 'em LARTed early and often, I 
say.
