I'm new here. I'm running SIMS 1.7 also, and I'm also using "Relay
for Clients only".
I looked up the release notes for 1.8b8:

It appears that 1.8b8 has been out for several months. Are many
people running it? Are there any downsides to using 1.8b8 compared to
1.7?
It looks like there are several new spam-related features but could
you explain why the simple "Relay for Clients only" command in 1.7
doesn't do what ORBS feels is necessary? Which of the new 1.8
features makes ORBS happy?
Also, is there any other summary of changes between 1.8b8 and 1.7
besides the history page above? It's hard for me to tell in the many
bug fixes whether they are bug fixes for earlier versions of 1.8bx or
if they are fixing bugs present in 1.7, also it's kind of hard to put
the various new features in context?
Lastly (finally!) is there some sort of upgrade procedure floating
around that covers going from 1.7 to 1.8b8?
