Unfortunately, it's not always possible to put what we might believe are
reasonable limits on mailbox sizes. My users would probably flay me alive and
drag me over hot coals if I tried anything like that. I work for a small
magazine publisher and advertisers are continually e-mailing largish image
files (photographs mostly) to our production staff. I try, when possible, to
steer them toward alternatives like ftp, but most of them are realtors who
barely understand e-mail and think that the internet is entirely contained in
what they see through Internet Exploder. Even so, I've never seen anyone's
mailbox get quite as large as 800MB.
