While this problem has gone away for me, and only occurred on my initial
installation of SIMS, try changing the "Delete Failed Messages" setting.
It's been so long now, that I don't remember what the default is ("Never" ?),
but changing it to what I have now ("Two Weeks") solved the problem of the
queued messages never deleting (even though they'd been delivered). I don't
recall now, but I believe I changed it back to "Never" (just for a test)
and still had no problem....

Since I don't use the WWW interface, I can't comment on the meaning of
italics there. However, I also seem to remember (back when I was having the
queue-buildup problem) a comment about there being a difference in the
"Delete Failed Messages" setting based on whether you were using the WWW
interface or Communigator to interrogate/set it.

Good luck!
