Howdy, SIMS occasionally takes quite a while to start up (between 30 and 45 seconds), during which time no other processes are able to respond.
Other times, it opens almost immediately, and is ready to go. In all cases, the pending queue is empty, users mailboxes are empty (I just use it for SMTP), and the system is not heavily loaded. Using 1.8b8.
