We have also experienced that on our server. Except in our case the
email address is not preceded by a space, but an underscore.

If you examine your email carefully you will notice that there
actually is an attachment as well, an attachment with double
extensions (for example "fun.MP3.pif"). I have not looked more
closely at the attachments, but I guess it is the worm Badtrans
<http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/badtrs_b.shtml>.

You can't stop it in the router. :-(
The senders are regular users' machines that are infected and it
would not do any good to blacklist them.

The only thing you can do is to make sure that all your email clients
are running the latest antivirus updates on their machines, and if
they have Windows also have applied all security patches available.
