----lots snipped---- James If you were using a list server such as ListSTAR, it would put all the addresses in BCC. I do use ListSTAR POP and SIMS and have 400 BCCs per "batch". It works just fine even though I only have 100 SMTP streams declared in SIMS. I suspect this is because SIMS is smart enough to do a single SMTP connection for each domain and send all of the mails to it at once. I have sorted my lists by domain and it took SIMS less than 1 second to send 80 messages to one domain. Your mail could get filtered by users if they are not expecting BCC mail from you. I know I trash anything except list mail that doesn't have me in TO or CC. Given the size of your mailings (50) I would suggest that you write individually addressed files to the SIMS submitted folder rather than using the SMTP function in Lasso. I find it easier to manage, and it lets SIMS do the dirty work. Writing the file ALWAYS works, regardless of how badly damaged the email address is. I would also make sure that the individual's email address appears in the body (This mail sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED]). It makes sorting out the bounces much easier, especially when the mail has hopped through several alias servers. -- Neil Neil Herber, RGD Corporate info at http://www.eton.ca/ Eton Systems, 15 Pinepoint Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada K2H 6B1 Tel: (613) 829-4668 ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
