Hi folks,
I've got a problem user... er, I mean user with a problem.
He's on a local network, behind IPNetRouter. The address he's
sending through, 216.30.135.105, is my IPNR server.
He sent out what appears to be a fairly large batch email this
morning (I dont' know yet how many addressees there were). Some went
through, others bounced with this message:
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 5/16/2002 9:03 AM
No transport provider was available for delivery to this
recipient.
I took a look at the logs and found a number of lines like those below:
09:03:51 3 SMTP-983(bodhi) Failed to verify. Real address is
[216.30.135.105:1161]
09:03:51 2 SMTP-983([216.30.135.105]) {S.0001771136} received, 2362 bytes
09:03:51 2 SYSTEM [S.0001771136]
<003d01c1fce2$e129dc70$1300a8c0@bodhi> 0+1 From:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
09:03:52 2 SYSTEM(POP) [S.0001771136] delivered to (billc)
He's using Outlook... and I have a couple of other Outlook users who
are experiencing problems sending or receiving right now also.
Any clues as to what the problem is here? Do I just have too few
sessions open or something? Thanks for any hints as to what this
might be.
