Yeah, I have a copy of Mandrake 8.1 (I think), but I don't know enough about
configuring Linux to get Postfix up and running and Sendmail is confusing to
me at best. I have a Linux reference book on my bookshelf here and I have
used it in trying different distros.

Used Caldera 2.4 eDesktop for some time, but couldn't get SMTP to work
right.

We've got a unique situation here, because we are participating in a
community computer network of non-profits.

As part of the deal in the network, we get connectivity (64K - Yeah, I know,
dog slow, but better than the dial-up we had), mail and web.

We are hosting the web and mail at our site, but the two entities that are
involved from an ISP standpoint are providing us name service, so I don't
know if that's what's messing up my deal or what.

BUT, that's a whole 'nother penguin issue. :-)

I could run Red Hat, but don't have the bandwidth to download in a
reasonable time or the finances in the budget to purchase right now.

Guess I'll have to keep it on the client level for the time being.

Going to check out some other setups that are around town here.

One in particular, at the public school system, has an Airport setup that
I'm particularly interested in.

Yeah. What you said. :-)

Thanks, Christopher.
