Maybe I'm just a corn-fused guy from Iowa, but I'm not understanding
all this talk about needing to move SIMS to X. Get a $10 PowerPC
machine off Ebay, pay another $20 shipping, toss SIMS on it, and have
a mailserver that can easily handle hundreds of accounts, and tens of
thousands of emails per day.

Heck, if anyone *NEEDS* extra machines to run SIMS on, I could
probably get some for just the cost of shipping. A 6100/60 with a
500MB hard drive, and 16MB of RAM can do a lot. A friend of mine
recently rescued a handful of 6100, 8100, 8500 and yes, even a
8600/(250?) from a trash bin.

If someone can't even afford to get a low end Mac to run SIMS on, and
only needs a few accounts then they're probably not in a position to
pay for software, either. So, go download Communigate Pro, and
install it unlicensed. It works. It even says so on the Communigate
download page. The only drawback is that It'll tag your emails with
a little line that says "trial version of Communigate Pro" Just
don't whine to the Communigate Pro mailing list when you find that
it's a little more difficult to configure than SIMS (not by much
though, and certainly simpler than Sendmail).
