I come to drink at the fountain of SIMS wisdom with 2 questions: 1) Currently I am running SIMS Version: 1.8b8 which seems to be flawless and solid as a rock. I see many recommendations to use 1.8b9d14. Can anyone tell me what changes were made between those 2 betas and why or if I should use the later one? I don't subscribe to the "because it's the latest" mind-set if the current version ain't broke.
2) Currently my upstream ISP (igs.net) handles all my DNS stuff. I also use their mail servers (3 deep, I think) for my "prime" accounts, [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have a DNS entry (not an MX entry) that points [EMAIL PROTECTED] to my local SIMS box. The $64 question is: Can my SIMS box act as the primary server for both domains with IGS servers as secondaries? How do I configure SIMS to go fetch mail from the secondaries when necessary? Or is it necessary? Pointers to a FAQ that a non-geek can understand welcome. -- Neil Neil Herber, RGD Corporate info at http://www.eton.ca/ Eton Systems, 15 Pinepoint Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada K2H 6B1 Tel: (613) 829-4668 ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
