Yes, that was the first thing that I did.

Humm.. come to think of it, I think the log he sent me DOES show a MAC 
address (there is a string at the end of each line that looks like it 
could be one). I'll have to check that against my machine to see if they 
match.

If they do, I will then REALLY be scratching my head as I just can't 
think of any reason (or way) that SIMS could be trying an outbound POP 
connection. And to the best of my knowledge, SIMS is the only thing 
running on that machine. (there is nothing else showing as running that 
shouldn't be, either in the application menu, or via apps like Quitter 
that show all FBAs as well. And there is nothing in the extensions, 
control panels, startup items, or system folder that shouldn't be, even 
double checked with ResEdit for invisible files).

Um... no. Something on a Win2k machine.
