Wouldn't this result in most outbound mail failing and not just mail to
legend?

I wonder... it would be nice if he could do a port traceroute from the
mailserver. Does anyone know of a Mac OS tool that allows you to do a
port traceroute?

Also, is boxer.core.legend.net.uk the mailserver? if I telnet to port
25 on boxer I get no connection.

% telnet boxer.core.legend.net.uk 25
Trying 212.69.237.250...
telnet: connect to address 212.69.237.250: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
