My primary SIMS box has been temp-banning my backup mail server because the backup is undergoing a dictionary attack and dutifully relaying spam to countless unknown accounts on the primary box.

It appears that SIMS will temp-ban the backup server even though it's listed as a Client Host. Is there anything I can do, configuration-wise, to prevent temp=banning of my own backup SIMS box?
I couldn't find any way to fix this besides turning off the secondary. So that's what we did. I know this is controversial, but do you really really need a secondary MX?
