Well, I see a fair amount of spam relayed through .mx hosts, but I'd want to kill that anyway. Be that as it may, 'mx*' as a router match pattern wouldn't match '*.mx' anyway.
Duh. You're right, of course.
The nature of our client's businesses (one based in Mexico with a site about Latin American tourism, and one who often consults in spam-prone countries like China and Brazil, for instance) means that we can't even consider blocking by country. I have to sit here like a kid at the pet store window, watching you guys happily blocking all of south east asia or eastern europe. So I overreacted a little on that one.
