I turned both off. I set the stuff for SMTP after POP to off AND I unchecked
the AUTH checkbox, but this checkbox is only the advertisement of the
service.

I am thinking that AUTH is still working even tho I am not advertising it.
This is the only thing that makes sense.

And with 8000 SIMS accounts it is not going to be possible to make sure that
all of our customers use good passwords so this is bad if this is how it
works.

I love SIMS and it is a great workhorse, but the spammers may have finnaly
found a way to force me to use something else.

Does anyone know of a way to stop SIMS from doing AUTH?
