Subject: Spamhaus XBL released

CGP users currently using the SBL may like to know that Spamhaus today released a new DNSBL called the Exploits Block List (XBL) which lists IP addresses of illegal 3rd party exploits, including open proxies (HTTP, socks, AnalogX, wingate, etc), worms/viruses with built-in spam engines, and other types of trojan-horse exploits utilized by spammers.

The XBL wholly incorporates the highly-trusted CBL (Composite Block List) from cbl.abuseat.org (therefore note that if you are using cbl.abuseat.org you should not also use xbl.spamhaus.org, or one will appear not to work).

The XBL is available immediately free of charge as xbl.spamhaus.org

At Ultradesign we've been running sbl.spamhaus.org followed by xbl.spamhaus.org for the last week and the combination of SBL + XBL is working extremely well.

Happy New Year!
