Meh, then I'd have to toss away the really cool name I've given my machine
(seeing as the server would be a new Mac), so then I'd be ending that little
period and that would be the end of it. It's my home machine after all.

My hope was that someone else would be familiar with the problem, but I have
this knack of experiencing unique problems - the old rule - if I don't know,
no-one will - a matter of fate, really.

Except the lead I'm still trying to follow - glitches in the Energy Saver
system. I started off thinking it was an application misbehaving, but I'm
getting less tempted now to believe that.


Still, if it comes to the worst, I could give the cat the mouse to play
with, and that will fool the Mac into thinking it's being used, and it will
behave itself....... ;)
