I replied to a message from my wife, a school teacher, who sent it from school. My reply was rejected by the school district mail server (Microsoft Exchange V6.0.6249.0) with the explanation:
Failed to deliver your message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: SMTP: The letter body is rejected by host Host 'smtp.pageud.k12.az.us' says: 550 Requested action not taken: NUL characters are not allowed. Doesn't like NUL characters, eh? Wonder where it came from... So I examined the message originally sent to me by my wife and found a NUL character between the </html> and </x-html> tags. Seems like MS Exchange can dish it out, but can't take it. And I guess it does accept unacceptable message body content, as long as it comes from in-house. Microsofted again. ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
