Shortly after I wrote that I had deleted my postmaster account long ago, I checked and found that I did indeed have a 'postmaster' account -- with NO password! Well, I promptly deleted it AGAIN. Unfortunately, after recently restarting my SIMS server, 'postmaster' is back again. It would appear that if there is no postmaster account, SIMS creates one for you WITH NO PASSWORD. Terrific. So, while I don't need 'postmaster' to admin the server (another account does that), and I don't need it for receiving postmaster mail (the router takes care of directing postmaster mail to another account), I guess I do need a 'postmaster' account, if only to prevent SIMS from opening up a big security hole behind my back. I will now keep my postmaster account, disabled and with a gibberish password, ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
