Some years ago, when I was more naive, I posted - in plain text - the email address of my listserver (macjordomo, naturally - it's free and works beautifully on an SE/30).

Of course I was subsequently hammered by spammers and had to take down the list. Not much appreciated by the users/subscribers since it was a list that brought old school friends together!

Then I discovered the best obfuscator - easy to use and it seems to be foolproof since none of my new addresses have ever been spammed after using this method. It's been a few years now which tells me that this works really well.
