one of my clients is on a sketchy rural ISP that has managed to get
itself - its entire /32 netblock - listed on sorbs
(http://www.dnsbl.us.sorbs.net/)

FWIW, a /32 is exactly one address.

wait... 8, 16... oh yeah.

duh. i was thinking it was a /24, which corresponds to the isp's whole netblock

so i've put sorbs back in, and put the offending ip numbers (i tracked it down to two, actually, both MTAs not listed in the mx records) in my clients list. viola! spam is cut in half at least, and my client can still send me email to tell me how wonderful i am.

i can't believe i ever ran a server without this stuff...
