Yep, prior to 2000 it was a proprietary format. Didn't realise anyone was
still using 3.X. ;)

Keep in mind that there are some problems with the mail action. It doesn't
handle time zones well and gives the wrong date and time (possibly not an
issue if you're in the US).

Also, if you are generating bulk email and the mail server starts rejecting
the Tango ACGI there is no elegant way of handling it.

We do a subscription based mail out for a client to 5500 people with a
newsletter generated from their content management system. When we used the
mail action (in Tango 2000) it would get to about 1500 emails and stop. We
now generate the files and drop them in SIMS 'Submitted' folder and out they
go.

Personally I'd be looking for an editor on the PC that can handle and save
the type of linefeeds you require.
