I'm looking at upgrading from SIMS to Communigate for my mail services. While it seems pretty straightforward (the interface is very similar), I'm a little uncertain about how to move all my users from one machine to the other with a minimum of downtime. So far, I've not seen anything in the documentation that gives directions for such a move.
So, if someone could direct me to the right place in the documentation or perhaps answer a few pertinent questions, I would be grateful. How do I copy my user accounts from my SIMS server to the new Communigate server? Can I run both servers simultaneously until all users are migrated? is this even necessary? Is there a way to quickly "switch" all users to the new server? I'm sure some of this will involve some DNS changes on my end that may be a bit OT for this group, so feel free to discuss that "off-line" via my personal e-mail.
