FYI, in the end I used The Bat! to print them out to Win2PDF; combined the files in Acrobat 6, using PDFSnake for the bates numbering, resizing and position tweaking; printed at DeHarts (www.deharts.com) who also snail mailed directly to opposing counsel via UPS another copy of the exhibits.
