I finally retired my SIMS server last month. Needed Spam/Virus
filtering.
Sad to see it go.

Same here.
Still running a single SIMS, primarily for various legacy web-to-
mail stuff that doesn't play well with my other SMTP choices. It's
easier than debugging.
