create a "Friendly" AI, how can you then create it?

I thought that Google, Wikipedia or wordnet princeton pretty much
ruled this world.

There's an enormous gap between Google and self-willed AI. In my opinion, what will be feasible in our lifetimes is within that gap - that is, I don't think there's any prospect for the foreseeable future of building either Friendly or Unfriendly AI (much as I would like the former), but I do think it would be feasible and desirable to build tool/assistant AI a lot smarter than Google.
