The Digital Enterprise Research Institute, NUI Galway is pleased to announce that it will host the 2011 Web Science Trust Doctoral Summer School from July 6th until July 13th, 2011 http://webscience.deri.ie A mix of international speakers and tutors will deliver lectures and seminars designed to provide a unique cross-disciplinary grounding in techniques for analysing the Web, understanding its relationship to society and engineering its future. Applicants are not necessarily expected to have a computing background, though some technical knowledge of computing and the Web would be advisable. Participants will have also have an opportunity to work in small groups on topic-specific breakout sessions.
