Hi! I'm currently looking in RFC 3325. I'm not sure about one scenario in chapter 5 when a proxy receives a message. This chapter defines what to do when a proxy recieves a message from a 1) trusted node and P-Asserted-Identity header included 2) trusted node and NO P-Asserted-Identity header included 3) trusted node and P-Asserted-Identity header included
It also says that if a proxy receives a message from a trusted node with NO P-Asserted-identity header, it MAY add one. I just want to make sure on one thing: If this proxy wants to add a P-Asserted-Header in this case - MUST it authenticate the end user? I guess that the answer is yes? Or maybe this is up to the Spec(T) to decide?
