Hello,
Iam thinking of developing a SIP based softphone using Vovida's SIP Stack. On the website, vovida states that the SIP stack is currently not fully RFC3261 compliant. Supposing I develop a phone using Vovida'a stack what impact will that have on this phone's interoperability with other SIP phones that are RFC 3261 compliant.
So basically what Iam trying to ask is whether Vovida SIP Stack is interoperable with a RFC 3261 implementaion. Please describe what features wont be available in the vovida stack. I have to decide early wheter to use vovida or not so any comments will be appreciated.
If there are any other efficient Open source SIP stacks available please let me know
