I am trying to work with version Windows Messenger 5.0.0.0468 on Win2k using the SIP protocol. After it registers with the SIP proxy that I am developing, it sends a SERVICE message to the proxy (even ethereal doesn't know what this message is) which was not declared in the register message. Does anybody know in which RFC the SERVICE message is defined and what it is meant for? I have a feeling that Microsoft are trying to work with a SIP extension as the supported field appears in the register message header with the value "com.microsoft.msrtc.presence" (it wasn't there in XP messenger 4.7).
Also does anybody know if it is possible to get the video working in Messenger on Win2K? Thanks, Simon Shaw mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
