I just want to ask a quick question regarding a forking scenario.
INVITE------------>|
|------>INVITE phone (1)
|------>INVITE phone (2)
|<------180 Ringing phone (1)
<---180 Ringing(1)-|
|<------180 Ringing phone (2)
<---180 Ringing(2)-|
|
a little later..
|<------480 response from phone 1
<---480 (1)--------|
----ACK (1)------->|
Imagine the INVITE forking to two endpoints and both return a
"180 Ringing".
Let's now say that, after a while, one of the endpoints return
a "480 Temporarily Unavailable" message.
So, my understanding is this:
This will stop the call on one of the forks but, on the
other fork, the phone will keep ringing.
Is my understanding correct?
