Hi Krishna Meghala,

Yes you can.Your SIP URI ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) is an AOR, it can bind with multiple
contact address.
The bindings are stored in the location service. How to store the binding is by
external means.

When a proxy receives a request with dst addr is your SIP uri, it queries the
location service with the uri, that may result
in zero or more addresses for trying.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Question on Registration

Hi,

For an SIP URI can I register from multiple machines?
For example my SIP URI is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Can I send Register request to Registrar from two different machines one is at home
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and other one from office mynameoffice.mynetwork.net?

Also I am wondering how generally the Registrar stores this information in the
database?

Is this maintained say single entry indexing with my name resolving into multiple
locations? or multiple entries with the same name (my name)?

Thanks in advance
Krishna
