Hi, Sections 16.4 and 16.5 of RFC 3261 describe the careful processing steps that a proxy must take when maddr parameter is received within the request-uri. Should the proxy be prepared to handle maddr parameter in non-sip request-uri (tel, im, pres, etc.)? Is it reasonable to use maddr parameter in non-sip addresses, and should its processing be the same? Thanks, Tamar.
