Folks, I am new to this RFC hence this question. Section 2.4.6 of this RFC talks about multiple Refer requests within a dialog. My question is as follows.
It says that for second and subsequent REFER, the NOTIFY should have the CSEQ number of the REFER in the Event Header id parameter. Is this true for every second and consequitive REFER in the dialog, or is this TRUE only if a REFER subscription request is received and there is already a REFER subscription activated. Case 1: UA sends first REFER. Before this subscription terminates the UA sends another REFER. SO in this case the NOTIFY's for the second REFER will have the CSEQ number of the REFER in the Event Header id field. Case 2: UAS sends first REFER. After this subscription terminates i.e. NOTIFY with subscription-state=terminated is received, UA sends the second REFER. Do the NOTIFY's for this 2nd REFER have to have the CSEQ number in the id field ?
