Serge,
Queries on existing SIP usage and behaviour should be sent to the
SIP Implementors group rather than the SIP IETF WG. Please follow up
responses to this thread and direct furture queries to the Implementors
list and not the IETF - thanks.
In response to the query - It is my belief in this case that
because the UA received a response (didn't time out | go unanswered) and
it was not a failure response that the new contacts returned in the second
302 should be tried. If this behaviour continued the result would be that
the INVITE transaction would eventually time out.
Regards,
Wayne.

Subject: [Sip] nested 3xx msgs
Hi,
I have a question about 3xx messages.
If client initiated a call with INVITE and got 3xx message with 3
destinations, for example.
The first destination returned 3xx msg as well. How client should react in
this case?
Should it forget the first contact header list and try the second one? Or,
should it try both?
Thanks.
