Hi Atul,

As far as I know the message chart would be:

UA---->MG
REFER [EMAIL PROTECTED]
From:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Refer-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Referred-By: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

MG------>WhateverTarger
INVITE [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Referred-By: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

And I think that you can not (via standard methods) to force the MG to
include the
Referred-By as the From:

Hope it works that way,

Samuel.

Thanks for your response Samuel.

Still I am not clear about which address willl be used by MG for
INVITE?
Will it use Referred-by address for FROM header or the MG URI.

How can I force MG to use Referred-by address as FROM address in the
INVITE.

Thanks,
Atul

In the MG INVITE, the From: header has the value of the MG URI.
It may add Referred-By: header pointing the UA's URI.

Hi,

I would like to know which address is used by MG as FROM address when
it
sends INVITE message upon receiving REFER request from UA?

Is the FROM address points to the UA who initiated REFER or it points
to
MG address?

Thanks,
Atul
