I'm asking this because i'm trying to implement a SIP SNMP Agent, as part of my graduation conclusion project.
I chose to implement an agent for the sip-communicator (https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/), since this is an open-source softphone and is written in Java, and I have good knowledge of Java.
For the SNMP management, i'm using the mibs defined in this ietf draft: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-sip-mib-09.txt
Am I doing it the right way? Is anybody involved in similar projects? Does anybody have some advice for me?
I'm sorry if this is off-topic for this list, but i really didn't know where else to ask...
