Guru's, Are there drafts around how to register a SIP trunk? Any do's and dont's?
Generally speaking, trunk groups are a holdover from traditional switching. That said, the following I-Ds may help you: 1) TGREP - Telephony Gateway Registration Protocol http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tgrep-05.txt This I-D has been through WGLC, I beleive. 2) Representing trunk groups in tel/sip URIs http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-trunk-group-04.txt This I-D has also been through WGLC. While it will not tell you how to register a SIP trunk, it provides guidelines on how to represent a trunk group in tel and sip URIs. Hope this helps. - vijay -- Vijay K.
