Subject: [Sip-implementors] Loop detected problem

Hi All,

I m chandan from India. I faced a problem in proxy. Proxy gives 482
response when I making a call with host name of server.

For example- server domain and host name are given below--

 Domain name-xyz.com

 Host name  -- test-pc.xyz.com
[Rayees]
It seems that the host portion of the request line or route header is forcing the INVITE to be routed back to server from itself. As a result on second iteration loop is detected by Server.

My call like this---

INVITE sip: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

For this scenario proxy gives 482.

Please send me suggestion on this problem.

Another Question , can proxy check host part from  hostname.Domain name
format in the  INVITE call?

[Rayees] Yes it can, in order to make sure that it is serving that domain.

Thanks and Regards
