Hi All,
I have some doubt regarding the Throttling mechanism suggested in the
"Watcher Information Event Template-Package (RFC 3857)".
RFC 3857 (Winfo Handler) Says:
"4.10. Rate of Notifications
RFC 3265 [1] mandates that packages define a maximum rate of notifications for
their package.
For reasons of congestion control, it is important that the rate of
notifications not become excessive. As a result, it is RECOMMENDED that the
server not generate watcherinfo notifications for a single watcherinfo
subscriber at a rate faster than once every 5 seconds."
What should be the behavior of Winfo handler for Refresh Subscription and
Terminate Subscription ? Should winfo handler not send the NOTIFY immediately,
Incase we need to send it before 5 Seconds are over ?
