Hi,
I have a question regarding the implementation of Call Forwarding in
SIP based on specified time interval. Here I want to support ‘time-switch’
and ‘time’ nodes mentioned in RFC 3880 (CPL).
To support this we have to implement the algorithm given in RFC.
“RFC 3880 (Appendix - A): An Algorithm for Resolving Time Switches:
1. Compute the time of the call, in the timezone of the time switch.”
Actually I need a way to convert the time of the call in the time-zone
specified by ‘tzid’ attribute.
In Linux, I am changing the environment variable ‘TZ’ to the time-zone
given in tzid. Then I am I able to get call time in that zone. But changing
the
environment variable is affecting all the threads running in that process.
I need an alternative approach.
Please suggest a way to resolve this issue.
Regards,
Prashant
