yeah you are right. i have a sip appliaction server in berween party A and party B. initially a b2b session is established in between the two parties. now how my scinerio works is : my SAS gets the sdp of party A from the sipsession assiciated with party A. it increments the version number in " o" field as it is required to increment it to modify an existing media session with party B. sets "a=inactive" in sdp and sends this out to party B using a re-invite request. according to rfc after receiving this re-invite request party B must reply with a=recvonly or a=inactive. but it is first sending 100 trying and then 200 OK with a sdp in which neighter version number is incremented by 1 nor it is having a=recvonly or a=inactive. whats wrong in this case. i guess may be sip phones i am using are not rfc 3264 compliant. am i right? regards prashant
