There is a quote in RFC 3216 section 8.1.3.4
" It is RECOMMENDED that the UAC reuse the same To, From, and Call-ID used in the original redirected request, but the UAC MAY also choose to update the Call-ID header field value for new requests"
The transaction would be a new one in this case.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] 302 response query
Hello All,
I have a query regarding the 302 response for INVITE & REGISTER messages.
When we receive 302 response, then should we create a new Dialog/client
transaction for actually sending the new INVITE/REGISTER to the new URI in
the contact header of 302 response or should we continue using the existing
client transaction.

Regards,
Pravesh
