Hello,
I'm trying to install NS2 to run SIP simulations but I've been having real
problems with the installation. I have ns-2.1b9a sip patch ported to
ns-allinone-2.1b9a (extracted from ns-allinone-2.1b9a-gcc32.tar.gz) and I have
this error below:
diffusion3/lib -I./diffusion3/lib/nr -I./diffusion3/ns
-I./diffusion3/diffusion -I./asim/ -o common/ptypes2tcl.o common/ptypes2tcl.cc
c++ -o common/ptypes2tcl common/ptypes2tcl.o
./common/ptypes2tcl > gen/ptypes.cc
make: *** [gen/ptypes.cc] Error 139
Ns make failed!
I have tried out the suggestion here:

and have attempted fresh installations a number of times but the problem
remained. I'm running RH9, kernel version 2.4.20-8, gcc version 3.2.2, 512MB
RAM and about 7GB disk space on a Pentium III system.
I will appreciate any help.
