IMS feels that they must tear down all sessions if a UA becomes 
unregistered. I don't think this is a good model, but that is what it is.

They also feel that if they lose network connectivity on the access 
network then they should send a BYE to the peers of any sessions 
belonging to the UA that lost connectivity. Again I find this silly but 
it is part of the ediface that IMS has erected.

Maybe the latter case constitutes "being nice". The former certainly 
doesn't.
