In IMS context,

While forwarding a REGISTER message, the P-CSCF includes its own URI in
the 'Path' header to inform S-CSCF where to route the terminating
requests. This value is stored by the S-CSCF.

On the other hand, 'Service-Route' is inserted by S-CSCF in the 200 OK
response to REGISTER. This header contains the S-CSCF URI along with a
string ( usually "orig" ). This is usually used to differentiate between
originating and teminating requests.
When received, the P-CSCF stores this Service-Route header value and
associates it with the UE.
