Ramesh - if I understand you, I disagree.

Service-Route tells a UA what route to send requests in order to receive 
service from wherever you got the service-route from.

Path tells a registrar, or things with access to its data, a route to 
use to reach the UA. Usually they are viewed as inverses, but they need 
not actually be inverses. (As used in IMS they are *not* inverses. The 
Path contains the P-CSCF while the Service-Route does not.) Jonathan 
Rosenberg has published a draft proposing that these be made inverses, 
but that has not received much discussion, pro or con.
